The latest One D&D playtest introduced a new Weapon Mastery system, which allows characters with the Weapon Mastery feature -- currently Fighters and Barbarians -- to do a host of cool special attacks with all kinds of different weapons.

What aspects of pop culture feel most egregiously adapted in video games?
I think for me the most egregious example of a video game managing to completely miss the spirit of the original concept being adapted is how World of Warcraft handles the Old Gods.
