In its heyday BioWare put out Dragon Age games at an unbelievably fast pace.

This weekend, the Blizzard Watch team is all about Summer Game Fest -- the (currently) largest annual event for the video games industry (RIP E3), but that's not stopping us from enjoying new releases.

Summer Game Fest, the video game industry's largest annual event (now that E3 is officially dead, cremated, and its ashes scattered to the breeze), starts this week, and the sheer volume of shows  happening over the week is enough to make any gamer salivate.

Guild Wars 2's newest expansion is Janthir Wilds, which is set on islands long guarded by the wizards of the Astral Ward, giving us zones littered with the ruins of the fabled Mursaat along with more recent inhabitants such as the White Mantle.

Patch 7 for the critically acclaimed Baldur's Gate 3 is on the way, and with it long-anticipated mod support.

The next few weeks are going to be amazing for gamers: Summer Game Fest this weekend, Steam Next Fest (aka Demo Heaven) next week, and then the big Steam Summer Sale at the end of the month.

Summer Game Fest starts this week!

This is something of a calm week on the gaming front, but that doesn't mean there aren't new (and old) things to play.

I watch a lot of Stardew Valley videos.

This week is kind of a turbulent one IRL, so we're looking for something cozy and chill -- or ready to burn everything piece by piece, like a sadistic fourth grader with a magnifying glass aimed at an anthill.
