The Queue
The Queue: Three years!!!
It’s my three-year anniversary of writing for Blizzard Watch!!! Well, it was on Saturday, but we’ll not get that up in arms over being a day or two late. My first article was this piece about how Blizzard translated Daughter of the Sea into other languages for the different regions — which immediately sent me down a spiral of finding all the different covers I could of it on Youtube. It’s been a shanty-filled weekend, to say the least.
I’m still so thankful to all of the people involved in the decision to hire me for getting me the job. Considering that before I got the offer from Blizzard Watch I’d basically never written professionally before — I think it’s been going fairly well! I’ve written an uncountable number of words for the site, and have over 350 articles to my name! Here’s to the next year!
While I try and figure out if I get a sword at five years, it’s time for — the Queue.
The Queue: Sunglasses
I said I was going to talk about comic books today. But honestly, I kind of don’t really want to? I mean, if we have any good questions in the Queue about them, sure, but I don’t really have much on my mind right now. Just kind of floating, wishing I could get more sleep.
Oh, I spent like two days just messing around with various looks for my latest V in Cyberpunk 2077, in news that will surprise literally no one ever. Rossi trying to create an exact look for a character? Inconceivable!
The Queue: I still miss you, girl
This is my bunny Grimalkin. I wrote a Queue about her two years ago. I’m very much missing her today. She was a very, very good bunny.
This is the Queue. It’s been a week, huh? Yeah. Anyway, here’s some questions and answers. I think tomorrow’s Queue — I’m doing that one too — will be about comic books.
The Queue: Queen
That’s Makoto Nijima, codename “Queen,” from Persona 5. She’s one of my favorite videogame characters of all time.
I wanted to say that, and I have some other things to say:
Edwin VanCleef did nothing wrong.
Elune is a giant Moonkin.
Stay tuned for more nuggets of truth!
The Queue: Let’s talk about it
Alright, let’s talk about it.
The Queue: That kinda week
I think the title says it all here. It’s been a long week, and it’s likely to get longer. I hope y’all are staying healthy (physically and emotionally).
For now, let’s distract ourselves with a Queue, shall we?
The Queue: My complex flesh cage is collapsing
In the middle of worrying about all these small furry children I surround myself with, my own meat sack is also degrading, which is troublesome. This bone and gristle apparatus I pilot is really not maintained well at all.
This is the Queue. I hope your wet, squelchy sacks of organic compounds in elaborate arrangements are holding up better than mine is.
The Queue: Zombie Dinosaur Party
Look, I’ve had an extremely stressful weekend, my cat is super sick (and she’s the only cat I know who ever successfully healed an entire fight in Karazhan, so every single thing about World of Warcraft is reminding me that she’s sick) and I’m trying very hard to keep myself positive. So yeah, the title of today’s Queue is utter nonsense, cut me some slack.
The Queue: I love goooooold
I got the Fallen Charger mount! So I immediately made up a new transmog set to go with it. Luckily the new cosmetics from Torghast really match, especially if you can reach the Adamant Vaults and get the golden versions of them. I do wish we’d gotten complete sets of armor rather than just the back pieces and shoulders, but I’m still really happy with how this look turned out.
While I try and figure out what you feed to an undead nightmare horse, it’s time for — The Queue.
The Queue: Late nights, early mornings
Okay. The Queue isn’t late or early, but I’m writing it at a time that could be considered both late and early. So I’m just going to say the metaphor suits.
So let’s get to answering some questions and talking about video games.
