The story of World of Warcraft is one that continues.

For this month's D&D game, our party of adventurers has returned to the cosmopolitan city of High Gate after a harrowing trip to an interplanar circus, where they were the primary entertainment.

Sometimes an expansion will have open plot threads that lead into another expansion, sometimes there are story points that lead into a later part of the same expansion, and sometimes there are fun clues that never amount to anything -- yet.

The folks at Wowhead have a video comparing the original voice lines to the new ones, and it's subtle but definitely noticeable that in patch 9.1, Kael'thas Sunstrider is now being played by a new voice actor.

Really, this is all your fault.

This week Matt Rossi and Joe Perez discuss the datamined information coming out about patch 9.1 on the PTR, why Hearthstone has deeper lore than WoW in some areas, and the state of legendaries in the Shadowlands expansion.

I've written on this subject before, of course -- back in 2015, for example, and boy howdy that was six years ago -- but seeing Reddit user cptshooter put together a timeline of every WoW expansion going back to vanilla showing when each patch dropped shows us that in Shadowlands we're likely going to be sitting through one of the longer gaps between major patches in World of Warcraft history.

So I have this problem -- I've wanted to play Hearthstone for a while now.

If you love Dungeons and Dragons, you almost certainly want to play as a dungeon.

One of the biggest concerns in Shadowlands so far is loot acquisition, especially for PVE players.
