How to do Horrific Visions in patch 8.3

If you liked the Mage Tower in Legion, then World of Warcraft patch 8.3's Horrific Visions is content that is designed to appeal to you -- it's content you can do solo or in a small group (up to five players) and it's designed to start off with ramping difficulty that will eventually force you out until you get better at the encounters and better geared to resist the sanity draining mechanic of the Vision.

The Queue: Sell, sell, sell!

My favorite part about this patch isn’t the new raids or Assaults or anything like that. No, with the Auction House revamp, I might finally clean out my bank to a useable state! Sayonara to all those mats from the Garrison. Buh-bye, lowbie transmog gear. Hasta la vista, Pandaria veggies.

This is The Queue, where you give us questions, and we answer them. We promise we won’t hoard them in our reagent bank for five years. Oh, and while we’re here don’t forget to update your addons.

What are you doing first in patch 8.3?

I mean, I kind of know what you're doing first -- if you want to do anything else in World of Warcraft's patch 8.3, you'll need to do the introductory questline that unlocks everything else, from the Old God Assaults to the Horrific Visions and including the raid itself, since the raid portal for Ny'alotha will switch between Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms depending on which zone is under attack by the Old God itself.
