Diablo 4

The question is simple: is Blizzard going to reveal Diablo 4 this BlizzCon?

As is the case with any rumor, you can't be sure, but Kotaku has posted an article stating that various Blizzard sources have spoken to them off the record about the cancellation of an in-house StarCraft FPS game along the lines of the Battlefield series, in order to focus on both the Overwatch and Diablo franchises, which will be the big focuses of this year's BlizzCon.

I'm not saying there will be a new class, because I'd sooner expect a Diablo 4 announcement than a Diablo 3 expansion announcement.

I have in the past been very committed to the idea of Diablo 4.

I think about this one a lot.

On the one hand, I enjoy a good sale as much as the next person and the fact that you can currently buy Diablo 3 and the Reaper of Souls expansion bundled together for significantly less than normal is pretty great -- you can buy either Diablo 3 itself or Reaper of Souls for half off, and the combined bundle for 31% less than usual.

Earlier today Kotaku published a lengthy post breaking down everything from Diablo 4 to Pokemon Go for World of Warcraft -- from interviews from 16 Blizzard employees wishing to remain anonymous.

In just over 24 hours, BlizzCon 2018 will kick off in earnest -- and that all starts with the opening ceremony, which is where all the big announcements are made.

Do you remember a couple weeks back, when Blizzard released a video specifically designed to drive up hype for their upcoming Diablo projects?

Sometimes I seriously don’t understand what I’m up to. Switching back to Warrior? After spending the better part of a month grinding reps and getting geared on my DK? Seriously I think I have some sincere issues that would require a team of trained professionals to unravel.
