As we move forward into patch 9.1 of Shadowlands, we'll advance further into the land of death — and appropriately, one of the two new factions we'll encounter is Death's Advance.

One of the upcoming events in patch 9.1 is the Tormentors of Torghast -- reminiscent of the older Legion invasions -- where the forces of the Maw under the command of Kel'Thuzad strike back at the Covenants as they invade the Maw in force and seek to wrest control of Korthia from the Jailer.
I'll say this up front -- I hope you end up liking the Archivist's Codex and their new resource, Catalogued Research, because you're going to be spending a lot of it in patch 9.1, thanks to the incoming catch up gear mechanics that will be coming from Korthia in the upcoming patch.
In patch 9.1, we're going to go into Korthia, a lost realm that the Jailer seeks for reasons we don't currently know.
When Shadowlands patch 9.1 was announced during BlizzConline we were told to expect changes to our experience while in the Maw, and with the arrival of 9.1 on the PTR we're now able to see those improvements for ourselves.
