Recently, we Blizzard Watch folk got into a discussion regarding the various boss encounters that have occurred over the course of Warlords of Draenor's lifespan.

When looking at World of Warcraft and the Warcraft RTS series that preceded it, one thing is clear.

I was talking on the Blizzard Watch podcast about how the raids flowed into each other in The Burning Crusade, and that got me thinking about Vanilla raids.

We covered Blizzard's SDCC exclusives, but now that their panel at the con is over (though the Warcraft movie panel is yet to come), what did we learn?

I know a lot of players who argue that the story in MMOs like World of Warcraft is less important than the play experience.

World of Warcraft is a gigantic game, full of plenty of things to do besides  just roleplaying -- obviously if you want to roleplay with anyone, anywhere, you should probably be max level in order to get where you need to be.

RNG stands for 'random number generator' and, in this case, it basically means random stats on gear.

I may be in the minority, but I'd happily trade in some of the rewards from Garrisons just to have a Garrison that felt a little more distinct for me...

Character knowledge is kind of a double-edged sword in some aspects. You might know everything under the sun, you might be a walking encyclopedia when it comes to Azeroth's history ... but your character isn't likely going to know all of that.

I have to say, one of the things that's always frustrated me about Warcraft's lore is that some parts of it simply can't be found in the game — even when those events have a pretty big impact on the game's continuity.
