Maw

Shadowlands has some appealing mounts, collectibles and armor drops and as of The War Within it's mostly soloable on characters above level 71 -- and fully geared level 80s can defeat any challenge that the Shadowlands could throw at them.

Shadowlands patch 9.1.5 added a lot of quality of life features for those of us adventuring in the Maw and Korthia -- alts are now able to skip the Maw introduction, and those farming Archivist's Codex for item upgrades will have better acquisition rates.

Shadowlands patch 9.1 added a good number of rares to Korthia and the Maw, but like the daily quests they're not all created equal.

One of the highly-anticipated features coming in Shadowlands patch 9.1 is the ability to mount up while in the Maw.

Patch 9.1: The Chains of Domination, the first major content patch of Shadowlands, promises plenty of improvements and new content for players to enjoy.

In my opinion, the biggest block to leveling another character to 60 in Shadowlands is the idea that I will be forced to run them through the Maw again.

When Shadowlands patch 9.1 was announced during BlizzConline we were told to expect changes to our experience while in the Maw, and with the arrival of 9.1 on the PTR we're now able to see those improvements for ourselves.

If you've finished farming reputation with Ve'nari — everyone's favorite Broker-with-highly-questionable-motives — you may have done the responsible thing and started banking Stygia in anticipation of patch 9.1.

The Maw is expanding!

With Shadowlands patch 9.0.5 being largely focused on systems and balancing, many World of Warcraft players have been waiting patiently for the continuation of the various story threads left dangling at the end of patch 9.0 content.
