New Hearthstone Cards

Hearthstone's next expansion, Saviors of Uldum, is due out on August 6, bringing with it new quests, the Reborn keyword, and a whole new category of cards: Plagues.

Hearthstone's Rise of Shadows, the first expansion in the Year of the Dragon, releases today roughly two hours after this post goes live -- that's Queue o'clock, for you Blizzard Watchers.

It's that time of year of again.

In a livestream earlier today, Hearthstone Game Designer Peter Whalen, Community Manager Chris Sierra, and caster Cora "Songbird" Georgiou sat down to play a few games with some of the new cards coming to the latest expansion, Rise of the Shadows.

Somehow, every Hearthstone expansion is the craziest expansion ever, and The Boomsday Project is no exception.

Back at BlizzCon, attendees of the Hearthstone Q&A panel were given the opportunity to choose one new card for each class, and those cards would only appear in the arena game mode.

The rest of the cards from the upcoming Hearthstone Grand Tournament expansion have been released on the Hearthstone Facebook page.

New cards and mechanics for Hearthstone were released in the wee hours from Gamescom.

It would hardly be a tournament, much less a Grand Tournament, without some jousting.
