Next Wow Expansion

I keep thinking about what the next expansion for World of Warcraft will be, where it will take us, and what we'll be doing once we get there.

In a bit of a departure from previous expansions, World of Warcraft Shadowlands will offer one base game and two special editions with tiers of various digital goodies.

In a stunning cinematic trailer released today at BlizzCon, Sylvanas appeared to turn the entire World of Warcraft on its head -- literally, in more ways than one -- with the announcement of the next expansion, Shadowlands.

BlizzCon is coming up and it's about time for a new expansion announcement.

Would it be too soon?

After yesterday's big Gamescom reveals, we got together on Twitch to talk about just how the new content would play out so it should come as no surprise that we're doing the same after today's WoW expansion announcement.

Usually, I try to write The Queue not too long before it’s meant to be published — that way, everyone’s questions have a reasonable chance of making it in if I’m able to answer it.
