Starting in Season 10, Blizzard introduced the Mythic Shop for Overwatch 2 players.

A new season in Overwatch 2 usually means it's time for a shakeup in the meta, but this time, Blizzard is also introducing some changes to its systems for the Battle Pass and Mythic skins.

Season 6 of Overwatch 2 has more new content than any season before it, with a jam-packed battle pass with a theme that matches the new Invasion PVE narrative missions.

Rather than continue the loot box system from the original Overwatch, Overwatch 2's main system of getting new skins, sprays, voice lines -- and now, Heroes -- will be a Battle Pass.

The upcoming arrival of Overwatch 2 has given Blizzard the chance to revisit many aspects of its approach to the team shooter.
