I'm looking at my iPhone right now, as I listen to a playlist that has songs on it from various World of Warcraft soundtracks — for example, this one's a perennial favorite — a bunch of Diablo 3 songs, and even songs from other games.

Though this video from GDC 2015 is hardly new, if you're interested in the music behind your favorite games — Diablo or otherwise — it's an astonishing look at the music-making process.

First it was a nomination by the International Film Music Critics association, and now it's the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers Composers' Choice awards, with Warlords of Draenor securing another big nomination for video game score.

I honestly thought that Warlords of Draenor had one of the best soundtracks in the history of World of Warcraft, and now I have more confirmation: Neal Acree, who composed music for the soundtrack (as well as Diablo, Starcraft and Stargate SG-1 to name a few) tweeted that it was up for a International Film Music Critics Association award.
