Every World of Warcraft expansion has introduced new currencies.

I mean, I don't know about anyone else, but yesterday while running around in the Maw, I hit Tier 4 on the zone wide The Eyes of the Jailer and I was not comfortable with it at all.

How many times has this happened to you?

It's been a while since we had a linear leveling experience in World of Warcraft, where the game's story took you from Zone A to Zone B with no decision on your part. Warlords of Draenor had a single starting zone for each faction, but you could more or less decide which zone to go to next after that, while Legion and Battle for Azeroth both allowed you to pick and choose which zone you wanted to run.

Opposite of Icecrown Citadel and at the center of the Maw lays Torghast, Tower of the Damned.

You don't want to be in the Maw.

One of the things that's been a big part of gearing in Battle for Azeroth is randomness.

The short and unhelpful answer to the question Who is the Jailer is that guy up there at the head of the post -- Game Director Ion Hazzikostas confirmed on his live interview with Zoltan.tv that the folks at Wowhead had successfully datamined the fella's model, and that up above is it.
