I’ve just spent the weekend playing Doom Eternal. There’s no feeling quite like the feeling of waging a one-man war against hordes of demonic invaders. I think the sequel is taking itself a little more seriously than Doom(2016) did. There’s definitely more story than there was before, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, but I kind of miss the Doomguy who just punched everything he interacted with. It’s still a bunch of fun though! I’ve been enjoying it so much that it’s now three in the morning and I should’ve written the Queue hours ago!

So without further adieu. It’s time for — r̶i̶p̶ ̶a̶n̶d̶ ̶t̶e̶a̶r̶  The Queue.

The Gallywix community was a large organization of people who would carry players through high-level dungeon runs, raids, and PVP in exchange for Warcraft gold.

The gates of Ahn'Qiraj have been thrown open, and players have rushed into the ruins to do battle with the Old God C'thun.

WoW Classic has just reenacted one of WoW's most memorable world events: opening the Gates of Ahn'Qiraj.

I spent most of the weekend watching the second season of the Umbrella Academy. I liked it! I won’t say more because I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone. I hope the rest of you had good weekends too.

Now it’s time for — the Queue.

The weekly reward chest in Warcraft first showed up in Legion, where once a week you would get a reward based on the highest Mythic Keystone dungeon you completed.

I think it's fair to say that the Scarab War in Silithus is probably the most anticipated event in all of WoW Classic.

I’ve been writing for Blizzard Watch for two years!

Well almost. My actual two year anniversary is on Friday, but I totally spaced on it and didn’t even think to ask if Liz would switch with me for the sake of symmetry — that’s my bad. Still though, two years! Where has the time gone? It feels like just yesterday I was writing about the Battle for Azeroth launch. I’m still writing about the upcoming expansion launch, but now I have over 200 articles to my name!

A huge thank you to Liz and Adam for hiring me! Thank you to Mitch, Anna, and Liz for being such great editors who make my words into better words! Plus, everyone else who writes and streams for us for being just the most approachable nicest people to have as coworkers. And a special thank you to all of the readers and patrons of Blizzard Watch for helping to keep the lights on — you all rock!
