Matthew Rossi @MatthewWRossi — Matthew Rossi is a synapsid, perhaps descended from Cynognathus. He was born in Providence, Rhode Island, and grew up there before leaving to see the world and be mistaken for a sasquatch and/or minor singing celebrity in various locales. He currently lives and writes in Edmonton alongside his amazing and beautiful wife and their cats. He’s written three collections of speculative fiction, Things That Never Were, Bottled Demon and At Last, Atlantis. He loves playing warriors in World of Warcraft, barbarians in Diablo III, and he’s beginning to notice a pattern here.

The Queue: Assault on the Pit

Assault on the Pit is my least favorite of the daily Apexis chores. I have yet to complete it. I gotta go get that done, I just always have something better to do than grind my way through a bunch of elites in prot spec, like, say, sanding down my feet or eating potentially spoiled food.

Anyway, this is the Queue. It’s Queue time.

The Queue: An awful, horrible, terrible, no good day

I don’t really want to talk about it, but yesterday can just pucker up and smooch my derriere. Just the worst day I’ve had in years, and I’ve had some pretty awful days. The next few promise to not be much better. While everyone else will be enjotying Patch 6.2, I will likely be busy dealing with them fumigating my apartment. That means packing up everything like clothes and food, taking down all my dishes, and then finding another place to live for a day along with our cats. So much fun.

So I’m probably not in the best frame of mind, but here’s the Queue.

The Queue: Timewalking, tier sets, mage birds

Okay, so I’m leveling a brewmaster monk sans heirlooms on the leveling stream. Again, sans heirlooms. So the following opinion is entirely based on how strong she is without a single heirloom on.

Brewmaster monks are ridiculously OP so far. Like, every level up to 48 (her current level) I just annihilate things. We pull huge groups of mobs and I just hit them with Keg Smash. I was level 46 before I even had to learn what Dizzying Haze did. I just discovered Paralysis yesterday – I’m essentially a tank that can sap things now. This is ludicrous. How does anyone enjoy playing such an overwhelmingly potent class? I’m glad I didn’t level one when Vengeance was still a thing, I’d be unstoppable.

I’m softening on my declaration that I’ll reroll DK as soon as we hit level 55, because frankly, a DK wouldn’t be this crazy powerful. Anyway, The Queue. Your questions. Let us discuss.
