I'll be up front -- I thought the Mission Table was the best innovation in Warlords of Draenor. Now, many years later, the news that it won't be in Dragonflight fills me with a kind of joy I wasn't aware I was capable of feeling -- a boisterous, almost terrifyingly primal exultation, like unto that you would expect to feel just before you started singing and a musical number just sort of happens.

I literally forgot until just this second, I’m awful. I’m the worst human who doesn’t own Twitter.

Anyway, I’m alive, and I’m writing the Queue as promised. Listening to ‘Switchback’ by Celldweller.

The first Allied Races we got were unlockable by doing Legion content, and the others all required Battle for Azeroth unlocks, which means as of Dragonflight we're talking two or three expansions ago. World of Warcraft certainly seems to be trying to make leveling easier and more streamlined, but that also makes those older expansion unlocks for Allied Races more and more extraneous, in my opinion.

Honestly I've really enjoyed the Primal Storms so far, and I got one of my Warriors from level 50 to 57 in under two hours this week.

The Shadowlands redesign of Heirloom gear, which removed XP bonuses,  has made Heirlooms a lot less apealing.

Five years have passed since the mortal races sorta-kinda joined forces, or at least didn’t directly attack each other, to defeat the forces of Death. Now, the drums of going someplace that isn’t here thunder once again, and to that end, Grand High Poobah of the Alliance Turalyon and Smouldering Intensity Dragon Wrathion have decided to fix me up on a date with a Dwarf Mohawk.

Okay, you win, Dragonflight.

The idea of 'class fantasy' in World of Warcraft has been bandied about longer than the actual terminology for it, which gained prominence during Legion.

If you didn't manage to get all your alts leveled to 60 in World of Warcraft over the past few weeks when the Winds of Wisdom buff made it faster than ever to level, don't worry.

If you want to get your alts geared and ready to go for Dragonflight, or if you have a little catching up to do on your main, there are a lot of options for you to explore in the next few weeks before the expansion launches, particularly as the pre-expansion event kicks off today.

One of the changes is the One D&D playtest is the addition of Epic Boons -- special feats available to specific class groups at level 20.
