I've been spending a fair amount of my time running through content on a variety of Warriors in Dragonflight's alpha, from a series of premade 70s to an assortment of 60 to 68 characters I've created.

There have been many editions of D&D over the years, each radically redesigning the game — but the next edition, One D&D, might finally put an end to the bickering over which edition is best.

Now, this is in no way, shape, or form anything Blizzard is responsible for.

So I’m working on a thing — not exactly hush hush, more that I don’t want to jinx it, but it’s a RPG product I might put up on Drive Thru RPG when it’s done, if it ever gets there. And it has me reading a lot of superhero comics, because it’s a superhero RPG thing. It turns out I like the mid-tier villain types a lot — not the world conquering or embodiment of evil types, but what you might call jobbers — people who get super powers and the first thing they think to do with them is rob a bank or whatever.

They’re not out to commit mass murder or rule the world, and I like that — it feels grounded, you know? If I had super powers, I’d probably try to make money legally with them, but I can at least understand the impulse to just take it. I’d kind of like to do a heist movie with superfolk someday.

Anyway, this is the Queue.

This large, muscular NPC is not one of the four available body types for Dracthyr in World of Warcraft Dragonflight and frankly, it should be.

With the return of the Mobile Auction House to the WoW Companion app, I am now thinking about how much of World of Warcraft could be likewise made accessible via an app, and how much should be.

Last year, Overwatch got a limited form of cross-play, which let you play the game with friends on other platforms (with a host of limitations) — but now the game's cross-platform features are getting a boost with cross-progression.

A WoW Classic version of Wrath of the Lich King was only officially announced on April 19, 2022, and we now know we're getting a fairly speedy launch, because Wrath Classic has a September 26 release date.

On August 18, Wizards Presents will reveal upcoming products for both Dungeons and Dragons and Magic the Gathering that Wizards of the Coast have in store.
