If you've played any computer games, you've probably played one or more RPGs without really thinking about it.

There's been an absence of new content lately for World of Warcraft players.

Whenever you see a fuzzy character that grips at your heartstrings in a new show or movie and just know you would kill for them, it's truly something special. I remember watching the first three episodes of Avatar: The Last Airbender when I realized that the hero of the story was Appa.

With the holidays fast approaching, I figured now is a good time to list a bunch of RPGs you may not have played and give you something else to do with your rarely-visited relatives.

I mean, straight up, transmog has made me love so, so many games — from World of Warcraft to Assassin's Creed Odyssey I enjoy playing dress up with my little POV character almost as much as getting a compelling story or satisfying gameplay loops.

Look, families are great, sometimes.

Amazon Prime is loving the views for its Wheel of Time series, and the future for this streaming service seems to be focusing more on genre shows like the upcoming Lord of the Rings series and — to me at least more interestingly — possibly a Mass Effect series as well.

Wrapping up his two-year Riatan D&D campaign, DM Matt Rossi throws everything but the kitchen at our hapless adventurers as they battle the final boss with the only weapon they have left: wild magic!

You really want to play a Halfling Barbarian, or a Warforged Druid, or for whatever reason, you rolled a character with no stats above 11 and you really want to play it despite it being utterly terrible at everything.

Not all Dungeon Masters will have the problem of having to wrap up a long-running campaign in a satisfying way.
