The Queue: Pride festivals in WoW and other Blizzard games, patch timing, and quests while leveling
Let’s get into the Queue.
The Queue: People skills
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I went back to do the Dominance Offensive quest chain on an Allied Race alt and man, I still wonder what Thrall was thinking when he put this guy in charge. I mean…people skills should probably be part of the job description, you know?
The Queue: Dadghar and the dead girl
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
I didn’t realize the Warlords garrison perpetually updated with Battle Pets after the expansion was over, so imagine my surprise to find Khadgar’s disembodied head and Uuna just strolling along without a care in the world. Or, well, floating along in Khadgar’s case. Either way, Dadghar and the Dead Girl sounds like an amazing title for a Saturday morning cartoon. Uuna gets into mischief, Khadgar tries to keep her out of it, but he has no corporeal body. Hijinks ensue.
The Queue: I got this
Seriously, I was totally ready to hit this guy in the face, but someone had to teleport me back to the Vindicaar before I had a chance. Ugh. Don’t my Draenei friends understand that it’s my goal in life to hit things in the face? Apparently not.
The Queue: Pulp fashion
It’s a pulptastic showdown in this month’s Splatfest, with those who prefer their orange juice without pulp pitted against those who actually have good taste. We’ll find out this coming weekend which team comes out on top.
Until then, let’s Queue!
The Queue: Happy Star Wars with our good friend Mat McCurley
Our good friend and previous WoW Insider podcast host Mat McCurley has decided that Star Wars fans need a bit of happy, something I agree with. And who better to provide that than the other (better?) half of the two-headed Orc MatMatt? I’ve recently given his show a listen, and it’s got the classic Mat “my other name is Ira Glass” McCurley vibe to it.
In episode two he goes into why he loves, and we should all love, Rose Tico. It shouldn’t surprise anyone that I think we should also love Rose Tico and what she brings to the films (and hopefully have more of it), and Mat frames the recent goings-on around the character in a perspective that is very respectful and spot-on, I think. It’s definitely worth a listen.
You can find more on his site or on the Happy Star Wars iTunes page.
The Queue: I bless the rains
I’m a sucker for metal covers of songs that shouldn’t have metal covers.
It’s the Queue. My Lightforged hit 110. I seek to cure what’s deep inside.
The Queue: Say cheese

Maybe we didn’t get an Animal Crossing announcement for the Switch at E3, but at least I can find a charming and friendly alpaca in Battle for Azeroth, right? Look, I’ll take what I can get, and what I can get is absolutely adorable. Let’s answer your questions!
The Queue: Rainbows for everyone!
And you get a rainbow and you get a rainbow and you get a rainbow!
Yep, that’s just the kind of randomness you can expect here in the Queue.
The Queue: Nintendo Watch
Really, it shouldn’t be surprising that I’m calling this Nintendo Watch. What will be surprising is if Nintendo actually announces an Animal Crossing title for the Switch (a real one, not a mini-game one).
If that happens, I probably won’t be around to comment because I’ll have died from happiness.
