The Queue: I’ve never loved you more
Welcome back to The Queue, our daily Q&A feature for all of Blizzard’s games! Have a question for the Blizzard Watch staff? Leave it in the comments!
Look I’ve been a fan of Griftah since Burning Crusade. I can safely say that not once have I ever been carried away by a Tikbalang. But his general appeal has grown even greater in Legion, largely because he hands me 5,000 gold a week for some silly Coins of Air. I don’t even need those things. You know what I do need? Gold. Lots of gold. It…it’s like he knows me, man.
Speaking of knowing things, let’s get to answering your questions.
The Queue: Back-to-back Mitch
Whether you like it or not, I’m back, y’all! And everything’s coming up Mitch.
Cue and ayyyyyy? That sounds close to right. Let’s do those things.
The Queue: Vampires or werewolves?
I told you guys Adam wouldn’t be here this week. Who’s ready for some back-to-back Mitch?!
Also, this weekend was yet another Splatfest, with the two choices in North America being vampires and werewolves. I went Team Vampire, which won all three categories (nbd). Apparently they had Team Front Roll vs. Team Back Roll over in Europe last week, but really, anyone who puts the toilet paper on the loop backwards is a monster. And not the good kind, like vampires or werewolves.
Let’s Queue.
The Queue: Devilsaur
It’s a devilsaur, run!
The Queue: The end of Liztopia
Alas, but my two-day reign of the Queue is over, so we must watch Liztopia crumble and fall until it returns in a couple of weeks. (I’ll be out next week, but Anne will fill in.) But in the meantime, here’s another Queue.
The Queue: Liztopia
Kids these days and their games and their topias and their . valleys and whatever else! I don’t understand any of this. What’s going on? Why are you on my lawn?
(In which Liz has yet played Stardew Valley and doesn’t have time to give in to the temptation, so let’s all just stop talking about it, okay?)
The Queue: Mitchtopia
I purchased Stardew Valley for the Switch over the weekend and I’m more than a little obsessed with it. I mean, I sort of knew what I was getting into, but it still feels really nice to be this into a game. Not a whole lot of games manage to steal me away from WoW, Heroes, and so forth this effectively. It’s a nice, peaceful game….with occasional moments of unexpected realism.
Sadly, this first “question” is not entirely nice and peaceful.
The Queue: Overcompensating a bit there, Blizzard
Lots of great questions in this Queue, thanks for them. Had a joy answering them. Let’s get down to business.
The Queue: Resident Permanently
It’s 12:35 AM as I type this and yesterday I finally, after eleven years, became a permanent resident of Canada. This is a really big step for me for a lot of reasons — it’s one big hurdle on the path to becoming a Canadian citizen out of the way, for example — but mostly it’s a huge relief and a weight off of my back.
This has nothing to do with the site, except it kind of does — I started working at the predecessor to this place back in 2007. It’s been a decade and whatever little corner of the internet I can call mine has been greatly expanded by y’all and the games we all talk about here. I’d probably not be here without you. And I don’t know if I’d have been able to get this done and finally be where I wanted to be. So thank you.
Let’s talk about stuff.
The Queue: Still the prettiest

I finally got the Wild Dreamrunner the other day. It is exactly as majestic as I’d hoped it would be. Now I’m trying to figure out how to make a transmog that goes with it — that yellow green might look nice on the mount, but not so much on my character.
Yes, I am that ridiculous when it comes to new mounts. But let’s just let that slide and get to your questions instead, shall we?
