The Queue: Ten years ago…

On June 24, 2006 I and my then-fiancee Julian were married in a friend’s backyard just outside of Seattle. It was a blazingly sunny day, to the point where there’s a running joke between us that the sun was a guest. In the decade since that day, many things have happened, some good, some bad, but I can honestly say that it was the best decision I ever made. I love her and I have been fortunate to have her in my life and with any luck I’ll get to say that again in 2026.

Blizzard games have been a big part of our lives together — we spent time in Azeroth when we couldn’t be together before we were married, I proposed to her during a Molten Core run, we’ve raided and moved servers and played WoW and Diablo 3 together.

This is the Queue. Not going to try and be funny or clever today. Just going to answer some questions so I can go to bed (It’s 1 am as I write this) and see my wife.

The Queue: You will not find a better written Queue

Mitch and I have slaved for hours over WordPress to craft this quality, artisanal Queue for you. Free range, organic, and packed with powerful antioxidants, this Queue is guaranteed to improve your Thursday.

And if not, well, you see that hammer I have in the header image? I think you can come to your own conclusions.

Today, as you can see, I will be answering your questions as my alternate ego the Blood Elf. She has the same color hair as my Gnome, so that’s basically the same as always, right? Right.

The Queue: Burning Crusade fashion

In celebration of the return of the Burning Legion, I’ve decided to hit up the PTR and use the wardrobe to create an outfit true to the spirit of The Burning Crusade. Enjoy!

The Queue: I forgot I had that

One of the great things about the new Wardrobe system coming in Legion is all the stuff I’m unlocking that I entirely forgot about. For example, since I leveled in Vanilla, I’ve done the old Warrior level 20 to mid 30’s quest chain that ended with the Whirlwind weapons, and as a result, I can transmog to all three. Also, I have the Garrosh heirloom 2h axe, and so, I can transmog to that.

I also have Linken’s Sword of Mastery, and I expect I’ll come up with a tanking transmog set built around it.

This is the Queue. Let’s talk about Blizzard games.

The Queue: More wine please

You know what, I take back what I said about Dalaran’s citizens in yesterday’s Queue. It’s obvious they’ve all learned to cope with the idiosyncrasies of living in a flying city by drinking. Heavily. I mean come on, the bowl of that wine glass is larger than her head.

The Queue: Shiny raptor toesies

Fun fact: There’s a nice glyph that will turn the Shaman ghost wolf form into a ghost raptor instead.

Even more fun fact: Sheddle Glossgleam will happily make your raptor talons sparkle if you ask politely.

The end result of these two discoveries was everything I could have ever hoped for.
