The Queue

So we have this really fancy newsletter we were going to launch today, but I realized that I need to put a physical address in the eblast due to anti-spam laws. After thinking about it all of two seconds, I decided against putting my apartment address in the eblast and instead registered for a PO box. Unfortunately this all means the newsletter, which was supposed to launch today, will get delayed until next week.

Personally I blame the princes and princesses who take our money from distant lands.

Posting yesterday’s Twitter adventure was a bit of a gamble — those who aren’t fans of social media tend to be extremely vocal about that fact — but most of you seemed to enjoy it. For that, I’m glad.

Forward to today’s Q&A!

I’m not sure what exactly the map on the Horde war table is tracking exactly, but the little x’s and arrows and illegible writing is kind of fascinating to me. I wonder if the Alliance side has different areas marked out? I think I should pay a visit to my Alliance alt again and do some leveling, maybe.

I was really upset to hear about Leonard Nimoy’s passing yesterday — I grew up watching Star Trek. A lot of you asked in the comments from yesterday if we thought he’d get an in game tribute. Well, technically he already has one, and it’s been there since vanilla, down in Gnomeregan. Of course, he should be wearing a blue shirt and not a red one — I mean come on, everyone knows Spock’s always been a science officer and blue has been for science and medical since the beginning and yes I am a gigantic nerd thank you.

Let’s get to some Warcraft questions.

Guys, I seriously have zero idea what’s going on with this dress thing or why you keep asking me on twitter (@matthewwrossi if you’re curious) about what color it is. I play a warrior. I don’t wear dresses. As far as I’m concerned, they’re all a trick of GlaDOS.

I don’t want to hear any of you telling me I spelled baby incorrectly in the headline. Because I most certainly did not.

CAEC ASKED: WTH DID THEY DO TO FEMALE BE FACES They seem pretty awesome to me! RONDEUX ASKED: Am I taking crazy pills, or is there only one spell plate Heirloom in the game?  Why would they implement shoulders and nothing else? Other than those shoulders, you’re right, there are no other spell plate heirlooms....
