The Queue: Sleep or Queue?
I usually write these way too late at night, because I know if I leave it to the morning I won’t get it done on time. But that means I regularly write the Queue at 3am, when I would rather be sleeping. And, yeah, I would rather be sleeping right now, but I’m here and you’re here (in spirit?), so let’s Queue.
The Queue: Star Trek Strange New Worlds is really good
I don’t feel like this needs a lot of clarification.
Oh, and I took the Oath yesterday, so I’m officially Canadian today.
The Queue: oh wow
My brain is a little fried right now, so I’m just gonna get right to it.
So let’s Queue it.
The Queue: Dog Days
The weeks are flying by but every day itself just drags. We’ve turned the corner to the super hot part of summer, and I’m basically spending all day in a dark room with air conditioning, reading a book like our Hearthstone writer Ted‘s new novel, The Key to Reality, until someone makes me — ugh — go do something.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions, and technically answering is doing something. Ugh.
The Queue: Progress!
We did it! After a couple of long nights getting blasted to teensy pieces in hellish fires, we’ve finally started our journey into Mythic Aberrus.
The kill didn’t even really seem that bad and even without the nerfs — I think it would’ve been the one that got her. We finally had all of our members working in sync and calling out things properly to ensure the fires didn’t overlap. It was beautiful.
After dousing Kezzara we moved on to the Zaqali assault, and let them blast us into teensy pieces for a while. We got into the final door phase a few times, but the damage there was more significant than we were expecting, and each time we were left strewn about the area in smoldering piles.
While I see about putting myself back together, it’s time for — The Queue!
The Queue: Me and my skeleton army edition
It’s nice to have a skeleton army, a nice protective cordon of spirit and bone surrounding you and protecting you from the dangers of the world. That’s basically what necromancy is all about: raising the dead to be your friends and also sometimes guarding you from giant snakes.
Let’s do this, Queue.
The Queue: Other games exist
I am ludicrously excited for Cyberpunk 2077: Phantom Liberty, and not just because Idris Elba is playing a character in it. It’s a complete revamp of the entire game — highly expanded vehicle combat, more varied interactions with the Police (in other words, you can get them mad at you) and a revamped cyberwear system that allows for Cyberpsychosis if your V indulges too much in extreme cyber-modification. Clothes are now just clothes, with no armor or stats, which means you can wear anything you want without worrying that it doesn’t give the proper stats.
I’ve been in love with Cyberpunk 2077 ever since Joe Perez convinced me I should give it a shot, so this is all very exciting to me. Anyway, at least I’m still capable of thinking about games other than — well, you know. It’s the Queue, let’s chat about stuff.
The Queue: Used to Pierce the Veil
Hello and happy Wednesday, Queuemans! I hope you all had a lovely weekend and continue to have an enjoyable week. I took a mini-vacation full of choices equally great and terrible, capped off with a combination Pierce the Veil/The Used concert. It was rad.
And if you’re not having a good week? Maybe I have something that will help:

The Queue: Next Fest!
You ever ask someone a question out of politeness and then they start telling you about what you asked, but they just won’t shut up, and they have even more to say? One member of the Queuemunity sure did!
This is The Queue, where one person asked a single question, so buckle up.
The Queue: Bear down for mid-game
It’s the Diablo 4 mid-game for my bear in the truest sense of the word. He’s gotten to level 50 now, just 50 more to go! I also did it before starting the third act so I’m not quite at the mid-game point on that front. But I’m doing better! I actually did some main story quest today and progressed a little further!
While I try and stay on track and not get distracted by Strongholds and side-quests, it’s time for — The Queue!
