With almost -- or perhaps only -- three weeks to go until BlizzConline, it's time to start thinking about all the wonderful news and previews we'll see at the (free!) online event.

We finally hit Renown 27, letting us purchase -- for Anima and Grateful Offerings -- some of the cutest pets that Shadowlands has to offer (I'm particular fond of Sinheart, myself).

There are many currencies to collect in Shadowlands, among which is Soul Ash, which lets you craft legendary items.

I'm seeing a lot of people arguing that for raw power, the Venthyr absolutely dominate in melee, especially for Warriors.

The takeaway I have from playing World of Warcraft and experiencing its story over the past decade -- from Cataclysm to Mists and then the Warlords/Legion/Battle for Azeroth years, and finally exploring the content of Shadowlands -- is that in many ways WoW feels to me much like a season of a streamed TV series like The Witcher or The Boys, not in terms of the story it is telling, but in how that story is told.
