Diablo Immortal and the rumored Pokemon Go-style Warcraft game were not Blizzard's first attempts at taking their biggest series to mobile platforms.

Today the faction war heats up as the heroes of Azeroth battle it out for the capital of Zandalar in the Battle for Dazar'alor raid.

World of Warcraft has been around for a long time, and players have happily been running errands for NPCs throughout every expansion.

So, season 2 of Battle for Azeroth opens on Tuesday alongside Battle of Dazar'alor, and with it comes many of the Azerite changes from patch 8.1.

It was announced at BlizzCon that World of Warcraft's professions would see new quest lines which lead to a new item with a special ability.
