It's WoW's 17th birthday, and we talk about some of our favorite memories from the game — mostly involving wild raid night antics from the early days of Warcraft.

Look, families are great, sometimes.

There are a lot of RPG's and action RPG's out there, and yet, the Diablo franchise has managed to exist for over 20 years now, and the relatively simple formula for the series has not just survived, it's thrived, to the point where it's even seen a phalanx of imitators and spiritual successors like the Torchlight games, the Path of Exile series, Grim Dawn, Wolcen, Darksiders Genesis, Warhammer Chaosbane, and a whole lot more.

Amazon Prime is loving the views for its Wheel of Time series, and the future for this streaming service seems to be focusing more on genre shows like the upcoming Lord of the Rings series and — to me at least more interestingly — possibly a Mass Effect series as well.

Wrapping up his two-year Riatan D&D campaign, DM Matt Rossi throws everything but the kitchen at our hapless adventurers as they battle the final boss with the only weapon they have left: wild magic!

Paleoart is a fascination of mine. We’ve talked about it here on the site before, and today I want to introduce you to Anurognathus, a tiny beakless Pterosaur, as reconstructed by Liam Elward. What I enjoy about Liam Elward’s reconstruction of Anurognathus is that he doesn’t present the animal as a zombie or flying cadaver, desiccated and tightly wrapped with all of its muscles showing like an actor in a Marvel film.

Seriously, they dehydrate the heck out of themselves, it’s mega unhealthy.

This week, we discuss the fate of Varian's soul, the path that lead Anduin to his current situation, and the origin of the Shadowlands.

Shadowlands patch 9.1.5 is very alt-friendly, especially in terms of making unlocks account wide.  Armor upgrade items from Archivist's Codex can be purchased by all characters once one reaches Tier 6 reputation, and the Covenant armor appearances, mounts, and toys can be used by all characters after a character reaches Renown 80 with the Covenant.

You really want to play a Halfling Barbarian, or a Warforged Druid, or for whatever reason, you rolled a character with no stats above 11 and you really want to play it despite it being utterly terrible at everything.

World of Warcraft patch 9.1.5 added a lot of nice quality of life features to Shadowlands, from renown catchup to new character customizations to getting around the Maw faster.
