With the PTR for Diablo patch 2.6.4 having come and gone this past November, we're now aware that Diablo 3 Season 15 is ending, and Season 16 has a name and an official start date.

Earlier today Kotaku published a lengthy post breaking down everything from Diablo 4 to Pokemon Go for World of Warcraft -- from interviews from 16 Blizzard employees wishing to remain anonymous.

Blizzard is about to put Diablo 3's Patch 2.6.4 on the PTR for a week of testing -- an unusually short amount of time for a patch to get tested on the PTR, implying a fast turnaround for it.

Last week, we talked about the 20-year gap between Diablo 2 and Diablo 3 and how Diablo Immortal is going to live in that gap, starting five years after the destruction of the Worldstone.

While we usually have a World of Warcraft Q&A panel, a full-fledged Diablo Q&A panel is something new, and that means anything could happen over the next 45 minutes.

With BlizzCon coming up, I have two very contrary ideas in mind.

Diablo 3 for the Nintendo Switch won't be out until later this year, but the game is playable at Gamescom right now -- and it looks great!

Overwatch on the Nintendo Switch is more likely that we thought, especially considering Blizzard just announced that Diablo 3 will come to the platform later this year.

Blizzard just released its official Gamescom 2018 app  and it looks like everyone's favorite watery overlord will be making her debut next week.
