Looking at the changes coming in 7.3.5 to legendary items, I feel like I can finally put into words a disconnect I've had with them this entire expansion.

Patch 7.3.2 introduced Wakening Essences as the new currency for upgrading legendary items. In patch 7.3.5, players will also be able to use the Wakening Essences to purchase Purified Titan Essences -- tokens that will give players a random new legendary item outright.

Legendaries are frustrating, largely due to all the RNG involved.

In patch 7.3.2, new Legendary items will come that will help you gear other specs and your alts.

Several players feel like the recent nerf to classes like Barbarians and Witch Doctors is aimed at keeping Necromancers ahead of the pack on Greater Rift clears. Now Blizzard has addressed the reasoning behind these changes and what they actually add up to.

When the new raid comes out in patch 7.3.2, you'll be able to upgrade your Legendaries again.

The Greater Crater promotion for Journey to Un'goro card packs is now live!

This week, many of us are trying to upgrade our 940 (or 910) Legendaries to 970.

One of the features that came with Tomb of Sargeras was an upgrade to Legendaries: any Legendaries received since the raid released are ilevel 970, but that leaves our old Legendaries in desperate need of a little update.
