Spring is in bloom in the northern hemisphere, which means it's time for game developers, tabletop enthusiasts, cosplay aficionados, and nerds in general to descend upon Boston for PAX East.

This past weekend I was lucky enough to be able to attend PAX East for the first time and experience the gigantic celebration of gaming culture first-hand.

Today's PAX East panel came packed with Heroes of the Storm news, including a new hero, game improvements, and eSports announcements.

Due to an unfortunate technical problem in the Heroes of the Storm presentation, Game Director Eric Dodds had to condense the Hearthstone presentation into just a few short minutes.

At PAX East 2015, Overwatch Game Director Jeff Kaplan announced a new map, two new heroes, and a beta estimate of Fall 2015.
