Timewalking

The PTR for patch 6.2.3 is seeing some tweaks right before BlizzCon.

In patch 6.2.3, we'll be seeing the addition of Cataclysm Timewalking dungeons including Grim Batol, Stonecore, Lost City of Tol’vir, The Vortex Pinnacle, Throne of Tides, and End Time.

I think the best thing about Timewalking is it allows you to use fun tier set bonuses and trinkets from the past.

Well, we got the patch 6.2.3 announcement this morning, and now we have the patch notes themselves.

Coming soon to the PTR is a big surprise: World of Warcraft's patch 6.2.3, which features Cataclysm-era Timewalking dungeons (plus a new Timewalking dungeon for both the Burning Crusade and Wrath eras), the chance to get a new Infinite Timereaver mount (above) from Timewalking bosses, cross-realm Mythic raiding, Valor points for Heroic and Mythic dungeons (which can be used to purchase ilvl upgrades for gear), a Grove Warden mount for defeating Heroic or Mythic Archimonde (meaning it will not be a store mount), Arena Season 3 (with new gear ranging from ilvl 715 to 740), and rewards up to ilvl 695 for players in Tanaan and 725 for players running Mythics.

It wasn't until Timewalking's debut that I really started to appreciate Eck's presence as a bonus boss in Gundrak.

Going to be honest, I'm finding it hard to care about Warlords of Draenor right now.

Once again, we head into a timewalking weekend (though now that they start on Wednesdays, they've become less of a weekend event), and with an all new suite of rewards, there are plenty of reasons to jump in.

Timewalking has only been around a couple months, but it's already gotten a sizable update.

Patch 6.2.2 brought us a plethora of new Timewalking rewards, available from badges that you acquire during the event.
