It's official!

The first hero class to join the game since Death Knights in Wrath of the Lich King, Demon Hunters will start at a high level, presumably high enough be quickly jump into Legion content -- if they follow the Death Knight model, they'll start in the mid-90s and have leveled high enough to dive into Legion by the end of their starting experience.

Conventions like Gamescom make for long days and lots of writing on very little sleep — this post is no different. Plus, by the time you see these words, we’ll know what the next WoW expansion is, so you’ll probably want to catch up on that — and then come back here with your questions and discussions for the Queue.

So let’s get on with today’s somewhat-sillier-than-usual questions, which may all be obsolete by the time the announcement’s over.

It's official: the next World of Warcraft expansion will be Legion, featuring the return of classic heroes and villains, like the Burning Legion,  Illidan, Alleria, Turalyon, and, yes, Hemet Nesingwary.

Though this is a long way from confirmation, a curious Blizzard job posting caught our eye today: Blizzard is looking for an Art Director on an unannounced project that's listed under the Diablo franchise (with the caveat that applicants should have "a deep understanding of the Diablo franchise").

With the next World of Warcraft expansion being announced soon, it felt like a good time to take a look back at previous expansion announcements so we can know what to expect.

The hype is real!

Coming in StarCraft 2's upcoming Legacy of the Void expansion is the all-new Allied Commanders cooperative mode which allows you to play as Raynor, Kerrigan, or Artanis, working together to accomplish goals that would be impossible alone.

It would hardly be a tournament, much less a Grand Tournament, without some jousting.

Blizzard's presence at Gamescom is in full swing, with three new heroes and a new map coming to Heroes of the Storm, including Diablo's Kharazim the Monk, Warcraft's Rexxar, and StarCraft's Artanis.
