The whole Shadowlands idea -- the fact that we're traveling to the land of the dead, seeing new realms we've never seen and exploring whole new concepts that change and grow the Warcraft setting in ways we've never really thought about -- has me looking at that infamous Warcraft cosmology image and wondering about where we could possibly go that we haven't been to yet.

I'm rare in that I've never liked having consumables give the effect of class buffs.

We've been getting more dribs and drabs of potential lore from datamining and players in the Shadowlands beta, and I wanted to focus on one line we've gotten from The Other Side dungeon, and how it feeds into what we've already seen from the Maw starter experience.

So my wife and I went out into the woods last night and she took pictures of the sky. They’re pretty amazing, because she’s pretty amazing. I’m ridiculously proud of her.

Anyway, here we are, it’s the Queue.

Watching the Afterlives: Maldraxxus short, my first thought was wow, Draka's pretty badass.

Lately I think a lot about the passage of time and how each of us are essentially, and constantly, undergoing a process of being carved and sculpted by life, by time and our experiences. We start off unformed, with a whole life of possibility in front of us, but we move forward through time and as we do, we become as much what we didn’t do as what we did. We are what we’ve chosen, what we’ve experienced, what we become is the parts that were cut from us. The dreams we didn’t make real. The moments of loss, of goodbyes unsaid, of love left behind.

We make fun of Illidan sometimes for being a bit emo, but I think I am my scars was the most profound thing anyone’s ever said in World of Warcraft. We are what we’ve lost. Every moment that passes shapes us. We are made up of our choices, of the things we’ve done, and the things we didn’t do.

This is the Queue.

In the  Afterlives: Bastion short, Frostmourne appears to be able to rend souls in half.
