WoW Classic enters internal employee alpha test, rumors of open beta are premature
People who are interested in WoW Classic tend to be really interested in it, and as a result, will grab on to any information that seems to indicate that we'll be getting an alpha or beta test for it soon.

So we found out we're getting a bump to World Quest gear in order to help people gearing up for Raid Finder Crucible of Storms, and that has me thinking back to the days of running endless Heroic dungeons in The Burning Crusade for Badges in order to buy gear that was as good as what dropped in raids.

Patch 8.2 will see us enter two big new world zones with world quests and storylines leading up to a raid and a mega-dungeon respectively -- the Naga stronghold of Nazjatar surrounding Azshara's Eternal Palace, and the Mechagnome fortress of Mechagon.
