I had a surprise waiting for me when I logged on yesterday to do the usual round of follower do-si-do when I noticed that one of the missions I had in the pile was to go fetch...a puppy.

For the past several years it's felt to me that World of Warcraft didn't want me to PVP.

My Christmas presents this year were pretty much all books -- which is exactly what I wanted -- surrounding various video game series I've been enjoying playing.

It's one of those phrases we use a lot -- "X breaks my immersion." I'm guilty of trucking that one out quite often, especially when talking about game mechanics in World of Warcraft.

I have to admit, the twilight of Warlords of Draenor doesn't do much to excite me.

This week marks the Pet Battle Bonus Event, which I don't usually pay too much attention to, except that the stars aligned and brought Squirt to my garrison.

I don't like PVP in WoW.
