What do you expect from WoW patch 9.1: Chains of Domination?
We're getting a new raid in patch 9.1, and we saw enough at BlizzConline that we're just bubbling over with questions.
What did you think of BlizzConline?
I don't think any BlizzCon experience with three Diablo games in development is designed for me to do anything but love it as intensely and violently as a thousand exploding suns.
What snack supplies are you scaring up for BlizzConline?
Is BlizzConline your first online con experience?
Which other Blizzard titles should get the Classic treatment?
World of Warcraft did it first.
How do you think the Legendary upgrade system could be improved?
I finally upgraded my legendary, and there are parts of the process I like -- like farming for Soul Ash in Torghast, that part I enjoy as long as I don't do the Chorus of Dead Souls, that I hate.
Why would you change your Covenant?
Honestly I can't think of any reason I'd change from Night Fae on my Nelf Warrior -- I like the AOE DPS of Ancient Aftershock, and I enjoy the story and how it interacts with my character and the past couple of expansions.
What would you be willing to put off to watch BlizzConline?
I ask this question because I just rescheduled an important appointment to watch BlizzConline and I'm wondering if it's just me here.
How would you feel if Diablo 4 only launched with three classes?
I'm not saying that's going to be the case, but it's been a year and then some since the big Diablo 4 reveal at BlizzCon 2019, and even though we've seen numerous Developer Updates on the game, one thing we haven't seen is any news of any new classes being added after the Druid, Sorceress, and Barbarian announced at that time.
What would be the most shocking possible announcement at BlizzConline?
I think a lot about BlizzConline and how it's going to fill the BlizzCon-sized hole in all of our greedy little tell us everything hearts, and honestly, I think the most shocking announcement they could make, the absolutely craziest thing would be one of two potential announcements -- either a brand-new IP along the lines of Overwatch which they managed back in November of 2014, or literally nothing.
What sorts of special, surprise merch are you hoping to see come out of BlizzCon?
With Monday being the 30th anniversary of Blizzard Entertainment, they released info on some of the new merchandise that'll be available for purchase during BlizzConline starting the 19th.
