When watching Episode 1 of Campaign 3 for Critical Role last week (or catching it later, because it's now up on YouTube) you may have had a lot of questions about the new characters.

One of the things that makes or breaks running tabletop games, especially in our modern pandemic-altered world where many games are run online, is a robust digital toolset that lets you access books, make characters, and otherwise easily play with friends when you aren't sitting around a table together.

Fizban's Treasury of Dragons is a new sourcebook for Dungeons and Dragons 5e, and it's all about Dragons.

In the midst of an aggressive fall release schedule -- an adventure in the Feywild last month, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons this month, and the Magic the Gathering setting of Strixhaven in early December -- Wizards of the Coast quietly released two new official 5th edition supplements to the DM's Guild, their official PDF and print-on-demand website. Domains of Delight is a companion piece to The Wild Beyond the Witchlight, providing information for DMs on how to create their own realm in the Feywild, and Minsc and Boo's Journal of Villainy is a compendium of locations, patrons, and villains along the Sword Coast in the Forgotten Realms setting for fans of the titular heroes as well as DMs looking to flesh out their campaign.

So far I am entirely all in for Campaign 3 of Critical Role, and I very much enjoyed the first session.

It's fall in my little corner of the world and I could not be happier about it.

If you don't know who Eric Barone is, then you don't know how impressive his resume is -- the person who created the indie darling Stardew Valley, also known as ConcernedApe, he just gave us a first peek at his sophomore effort, Haunted Chocolatier.

Critical Role Campaign 3 has begun, and we now have our first look at the new characters the cast will be playing as they explore the continent of Marquet.
