Last week during D&D Live we learned that one of the upcoming D&D projects is Fizban's Treasury of Dragons, a sourcebook that's all about the second, and arguably cooler, part of the game's name.

Critical Role is the big dog of RPG streams.

This July 16 and 17, you will be able to watch G4 and Wizards of the Coast's D&D Live 2021. In previous years, D&D Live has been a kind of showcase, where new releases were teased, celebrity guests and the folks who make Dungeons and Dragons came together to play the game and let us watch them play it, and a good time was had by all.

At D&D Live 2021, we learned about the next sourcebook for 5th Edition: Fizban's Treasury of Dragons. Shortly before the event, Fizban's Treasury of Dragons showed up on both Amazon and D&D Beyond, so I'm comfortable saying that's what we're talking about in the first D&D Live panel of the day.

I once spent three months painstakingly kludging rules together for 5th Edition Dungeons and Dragons so that my friends could play in a game that was more like a fantasy anime like The Vision of Escaflowne, only to realize I was breaking my back to do something Exalted already did, but better.

Most Dungeons and Dragons campaigns, especially in fifth edition, end around level 10.
