I’m gonna be completely honest with you guys: I have no idea what happened in terms of April Fool’s jokes yesterday. I spent Sunday away from home, fell asleep extra early, and then spent all of Monday doing work. So anything that transpired after Saturday is not something I’m privy to.

That said, you guys were pretty cool about asking questions, despite “Mitch having Queue duty the day after AFD [be] the most poetic form of justice,” according to PumaBackup. JOKE’S ON YOU, PUMA! I GOT PLENTY OF QUESTIONS!

With that in mind, let’s Queue.

Look, yes, it’s the first of April and the internet is likely up to all kinds of shenanigans today, but I’d like to reassure you that no such shenanigans will be taking place here. Nope, you asked your questions, I’ll be giving you your answers, and we’ll be continuing on as usual. No shenanigans. I promise.

Fun story: Way back when I was working on the WoW Ultimate Visual Guide, I had a helper on Blizzard’s team of historians that I could email regarding any questions. Poor Lor’themar had gone through a variety of model changes in which he did and then didn’t have his eye, despite supposedly having lost it in the Sunwell Trilogy manga. Since I was striving for complete accuracy, this led to one of the strangest emails I’ve had to write, simply titled “Lor’themar’s amazing vanishing and reappearing eyeball,” which asked for the official status of Lor’themar’s eyeball and how it went kaput.

I’m very pleased that Lor’themar now not only has a stunning new model, but there’s absolutely no doubt left that his eye is very much busted. (I was also told that this was far from the strangest question they’d ever received, which only reinforced my interest in working for that team someday.) But that’s enough about my strange question — let’s move on to yours, shall we?

Look, I got my every two months eye injections the day I’m writing this Queue and I am utterly wiped out, just not feeling great at all. So this week’s Queue is me dressing up a new Kul Tiran Warrior in this, my favorite Classic WoW clownsuit. The armor I literally used for most of BWL and AQ40 and Naxx. Yes, it looks ridiculous. That’s the magic of it.
