Between the WoW Classic beta (so far, surprisingly bug free) and Diablo 3 starting Season 17 today, it’s a busy day. What do y’all want to talk about?

Also, today we learn that I can apparently talk at length about polearms.

Watching Mitch play through the Undead starting zone in Classic on the Blizzard Watch stream yesterday brought back a whole lot of memories. Do you whippersnappers not remember how we walked, on foot, uphill to our questgivers, who weren’t even marked on the minimap? You’re all spoiled rotten, much like the Undead starting zone.

Between Kul Tiras, Zandalar, and now Nazjatar and the sunken ruins of Zin-Azshari, this expansion feels like a love letter to the part of my brain that kept persistently asking “But what happened to x, where is it?” for all those years. I’m probably doing the PTR wrong though, because my first reaction upon arriving wasn’t “Oh look, quests!” so much as “What is that thing on the horizon” and an immediate trip to wherever that thing was, regardless of whatever happened to be in the way.

It’s okay, I’m a Rogue, I can stealth.
