The Queue: eueuQ ehT

I started writing about World of Warcraft for a site that doesn’t exist anymore back in 2007. The game and I have both changed greatly since then. My very first article had a picture of my Tauren Warrior on the header. So does today’s Queue.

Let’s talk Blizzard games.

Also congrats to Ember, who made her first quest today.

I don’t know what kind of game these guys are playing in Shal’Aran, but it looks absolutely fascinating. Sort of a 3D floating chess kind of thing. Can we get this in game please? It looks like something my jewelcrafting Rogue would enjoy making, I’m just saying!

The Queue: The saddest Warchief

Poor Vol’jin. He becomes Warchief and then we flee Azeroth, leaving him all alone in his throne room, where the only one to visit him is an alt stopping by to turn in the the occasional quest. Warchief for just a single expansion, sitting alone on his throne while we adventured elsewhere. It must have been a dull, lonely life, with only other NPCs to keep him company.

Sorry about that, Vol’jin.

The Queue: Sploosh-o-matic

Another month, another Splatfest. Here in North America, it was a battle of which bad holiday present you would prefer to receive: socks or sweaters? At first, I was leaning Team Sweater because bad holiday sweaters are a sort-of pastime, and you should always have at least one for the holidays. Then, as many pointed out, I realized socks could be worn year round, and could also be hidden easily. So I went Team Socks.

My preferred weapon of deadly inking remains the close-range Sploosh-o-matic. It’s a very serious weapon.

The Queue: Hello nice dragon

It’s rare these days that I find quests I’ve never done before. Usually it takes a new patch, or the launch of a new expansion. But I realized a week or two ago that I’d never actually completed the legendary quest chain for Tarecgosa, so I decided to see what that one was like. I mean, I liked the Rogue legendary quest a lot — would this one hold the same appeal?

Well so far I’ve collected a lot of small bits and been thoroughly berated by the aforementioned Tarecgosa, who took our first meeting as an opportunity to call me an idiot.

I like her. So the answer is, yes, for now. We’ll see as the quests continue — can’t really barrel through them all at once when they’re reliant on raid resets and all.
