The Queue

So I’ve been enjoying my Demon Hunter lately. Got her to 110 and found myself quickly loving dashing around and gliding at the absolute worst moments. It’s clearly the best way to pull bosses for your team in LFR.

I’m still having a lot of fun on my WoW vacation playing Diablo 3. I know as soon as 7.3 drops I’m back to Azeroth, if only to immediately go to Argus, but until them I’m excitedly killing stuff with a big honking weapon and a lot of twirling.

A lot of people tell me that Barb is the weakest class in Diablo 3, and for all I know it may be true. It’s certainly disheartening to see so much talk about it. But with the complete Wrath of the Wastes set, my WW hits for 800% damage and I have enough Life on Hit and Life per Fury Spent to basically twirl my way through just about anything. I don’t have either the Istvan or Bul-Kathos swords yet, but in the meantime my Ancient Legendary is doing pretty solid damage and when I need to generate Fury (which isn’t often because my WW generates Fury for every target it hits) I have Frenzy with the legendary power of activating every single Frenzy rune at once, so yeah, I’m having a ball.

Frankly, I feel like I’m going to be sad when I have to go back to my Warrior after playing this ballerina of death.

Well no wonder the Burning Legion was able to take over the Tomb of Sargeras so easily. Looks like the ol’ elevator to the Avatar’s got a nasty case of chute worms. Those things start attackin’ the joists and you can forget about your foundation, yessir. Whole structure’ll tip right in on itself in another two, three years if you don’t do something about it.

Yep, looks like we’re gonna have to tent the place.

No, Mitch, just no.

I mean… unless I get my own house and we can be arch-enemies. (Or arch-frenemies?) I could go for that.

Here at Blizzard Watch, we take shenanigans very seriously. Last night, for instance, we decided that Blizzard Watch needs houses a la Harry Potter. Here’s the thing, though: We need to officially agree on names for those houses. We came up with a few ideas — Grumplepuff, Glitteryn, and a few more — but I need you guys to help 1) come up with your best house names and 2) sort the Blizzard Watch staff into the appropriate houses. Oh, and one of houses must be a Mitch pun. Mitchindor, Mitcheryn, etc. — I haven’t settled on my favorite, so I’m open to suggestions on that as well.

And now, your regularly scheduled Queue:

This Monday started out with a walk and a cup of coffee. Not a bad day so far. And then I got home and found that I didn’t get the bonus on a 98% chance. Thanks RNG.

My Season 11 Barbarian has 3 levels to go to hit 70 and I just killed Malthael, so it’s Adventure Mode for now. I’m still using the Seismic Slam build — I know it’s not the best GR clearing build, but I’m not likely to do Greater Rifts any time soon, so I’m just plugging away at my own pace.

I don’t know who exactly piped up at Blizzard and said “Hey, you know what we need? A disco, right smack in the middle of the Auction House,” but they deserve a raise. Or cookies. Or something along those lines, because this was without a doubt the best mini-holiday in game so far. The place was packed all day long, the Karazhan-disco fusion music was amazing, and everyone was thrilled to be there. I don’t know about every weekend, but I wish this were a monthly event, like the Darkmoon Faire. It was nice to just ditch all Legion-defeating responsibility and go hang out and dance for a while.

Goblins or Gnomes? The ultimate showdown… coming to a Queue near you… right now!

Okay. I admit I don’t exactly have a score to settle and it’s not exactly a showdown. Mostly I just think Gnomes are pretty great, and I hope you do too.
