The Queue
The Queue which I will definitely write in the morning
I know that Future Liz is a responsible person, so she will definitely get up in the morning and focus on writing this Queue.
The Queue: Anthem could have been amazing
Look, I’m not going to sit here and tell you Anthem is a hidden gem you’re missing out on. There’s a laundry list of valid complaints about Bioware’s failed foray into looter shooter territory, and I’m not here to belabor them. But I will say this much — the initial gameplay loop of flying around in a futuristic mech suit is freaking amazing.
The Queue: Power, Wisdom, and Courage… but mostly Power
Another Splatfest down, another win for Shiver. #TeamShiver may have not won all of the Splatfests, but we’ve certainly won a lot — and in this case, it was a Shiver Sweep. Sorry in advance if we’ve doomed the kingdom (maybe this is why it’s crying?).
Anyhow, that’s Splatears of the Kingtoon.
This is The Queue.
The Queue: I need a vacation
It’s the time of year again where I’m trying my best to not burn out before the end of the school year, while also simultaneously burning myself out by trying to cram an entire summer worth of work into the next few weeks. And then, when summer hits I’ll spend all day ferrying kids around between activities while also trying to make them do enriching things and also prevent skill backslide while they’re out, and also trying to keep current on my own life at the same time.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and will hopefully give us a little grace if we’re phoning in the answers.
The Queue: Gotta go fast
Sometimes you just gotta do things quickly right?
While I wait for my Dash cooldown to finish, it’s time for — The Queue!
The Queue: Friday edition
Another day means another Queue. But this Queue is special because it is the Friday Queue. A time of both long-suffering afternoons and hope for a peaceful weekend.
So let’s get to it. Here’s the Queue.
The Queue: Dilophosaurus did not have or need venom or a neck frill
At the time it lived, Dilophosaurus wetherilli might well have been the largest and most dominant predator on Earth. It was over seven meters long and 400 kilograms at the low side, making it about as big as a modern polar bear.
The Queue: May the 3rd be with you
…And also with you?
Yeah, sorry, I didn’t really know what to do for today, so I stole tomorrow’s thing. I have no regrets.
But I do have a The Queue.
The Queue: Second of May
Nothing in particular happens today. Oh, right. The patch.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we toe the line as close as humanly possible while we answer.
The Queue: It’s gonna be
It’s gonna be… something. Shoot.
It was just on the tip of my tongue! I know that April showers bring… something… Oh well, I’m sure it’ll come to me.
While I try and figure that out, it’s time for — The Queue!
