The Queue: The day Raszageth saved Christmas
I regret to inform you that as of the time of this writing, Mythic Raszageth has not died… but she is wearing a Santa hat and carrying a candy cane. So let’s go on and celebrate this strange season with our new festive dinobird frenemy… and maybe get a world first second kill so we can get our own stylish Santa hat and candy cane transmog.
But while we wait, we can hang out and talk about dragons, because in Dragonflight it’s all about the dragons. Let’s Queue.
The Queue: Superfuse
So I’m kind of watching Superfuse, an upcoming ARPG that kind of feels like a fusion of Strikeforce: Morituri, Bioshock and Diablo 2, and so far I’m pretty interested in the game. It’s got a kind of dystopia with superpowers feel and you can customize your character’s powers with things called fuses that drop as you mow your way through waves of enemies which is somewhat reminiscent of plasmids, but the gameplay is very much an over the top ARPG gorefest that reminds me of games like Darksiders Genesis or the various Warhammer games.
It’s coming to early access in January and I’ll be trying to get in so I’ll report back to y’all when I get a chance to play it. The videos I’ve watched about it so far seem promising, but I always prefer to get to play a game first before I gush too hard about it.
Anyway, that’s something I though some of you — the Diablo liking folks — might find interesting. Now, let’s do that thing where we chat about stuff.
The Queue: Blizzard Watches for Blizzard Watchers here at Blizzard Watch
Yes, folks, it’s that time of year — the time of year when we get our most site traffic ever, as confused and windowless souls seek an answer to, “blizard watch right now?”
…Okay, that may not be entirely true, but it IS the fun time of year when our site name becomes a little more confusing for the world. But that’s neither here nor there. What IS here and there is this:
The Queue.
The Queue: Holiday Hours
Rutherford said it would be irresponsible to just sneak out the back when it’s our Queue day, and I see where he’s coming from, but since he can’t really operate a keyboard and Siri’s speech to text doesn’t understand bear, that means he gets to frolic in the snow while I do this.
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions and we answer, but we just want to let you know that it’s kind of a drag on a day like today. I’m just saying.
The Queue: ’tis the season!
Can you believe that it’s almost Christmas?
I can’t — there’s still so much to do! I’m going to need about another week easily.
While I talk to someone to see about getting the calendar extended, it’s time for — The Queue.
The Queue: I’m a Birdwatcher
It’s Friday, the race for world first is going (slowly), and the community figured out how to get Quackers the Terrible to spawn so I was able to snap a S.E.L.F.I.E. and earn the “Birdwatcher” title. Having thus completed my one goal for the Dragonflight expansion, it’s time to log out of the game, uninstall it, and answer some questions while my PC reclaims disk space.
The Queue: I am a hopeless creature of transmog and yelling
Yep, that’s me, doing Mythic Tomb of Sargeras for transmog. Don’t worry, not a single piece of plate dropped the whole run. I still liked that screenshot, so there it is. The Kil’Jaedan fight is still a pain but I eventually got lucky with it. He didn’t drop any loot I needed, I just wanted to kick his face in.
Gotta get more of my characters to 70. Need a farming corps for this one.
The Queue: 12 Days of Mitchmas starts now
What are the 12 Days of Mitchmas, you ask? Basically, every day starting today, you’ll all receive a random blessing from an Old God. It’ll be fun!
Also everyone has to buy me gifts.
QUEUE TIME!
The Queue: Last Minute?
It would appear that, once again, my inability to keep track of what day it is at any given time has really come back to bite me in the butt. How are Rubix cubes this expensive? How is Rutherford going to use one without thumbs, anyway?
This is The Queue, where you ask us questions, and we’ll get around to answering just as soon as we finish this one last Amazon order.
The Queue: In which Liz answers exactly one question
There weren’t many questions this weekend, so here we go with a one-question Queue. So let’s speed-run the Queue by doing a single question and then talking amongst ourselves.
