Heartstone has done some fun things with Warcraft lore over the years -- evil supervillains banding together, a big Draconic dust-up, Mean Streets of Gadgetzan -- and none of it is in World of Warcraft, which I think is a crying shame.

Okay, so this one's hard to answer and completely unfair because I personally have like six different answers.

Another of Shadowlands' secrets has fallen to the dedicated folks over on the Secret Finding Discord -- this time it's the secret of obtaining your very own Slime Serpent mount from Plaguefall.

The story of World of Warcraft is one that continues.

Sometimes an expansion will have open plot threads that lead into another expansion, sometimes there are story points that lead into a later part of the same expansion, and sometimes there are fun clues that never amount to anything -- yet.

The folks at Wowhead have a video comparing the original voice lines to the new ones, and it's subtle but definitely noticeable that in patch 9.1, Kael'thas Sunstrider is now being played by a new voice actor.

I've written on this subject before, of course -- back in 2015, for example, and boy howdy that was six years ago -- but seeing Reddit user cptshooter put together a timeline of every WoW expansion going back to vanilla showing when each patch dropped shows us that in Shadowlands we're likely going to be sitting through one of the longer gaps between major patches in World of Warcraft history.

One of the biggest concerns in Shadowlands so far is loot acquisition, especially for PVE players.
