Children’s Week 2015 offers a few new rewards
Children's Week has begun in Azeroth, and this year has a few new rewards for players. Sadly, there are no new pets on the table, but there's plenty to be had for your existing pets, and a new toy for your toybox as well.
World of Warcraft and minigame micromanagement
I'm on record, when we saw the introduction of pet battles, as saying 'Well, this isn't content I care about, but it's good for people who like it' because pet battles are utterly optional. The various rewards you get for pet battles only affect the pet battle minigame itself - stones and other rewards that affect the pets and how they level. There's never a reason to play pet battles if you don't enjoy the gameplay - you're never forced to do it, nor do you even feel forced to. I can say this having utterly ignored pet battles since their introduction.

The Queue: Bonus objectives, Heroes of the Dorm, and the next WoW expansion
Usually, I try to write The Queue not too long before it’s meant to be published — that way, everyone’s questions have a reasonable chance of making it in if I’m able to answer it. However, today’s a busy day for me, so today’s edition of The Queue was written late afternoon on Sunday — which means I’m speaking to you from Sunday, referring to Monday as today despite it not being today for me at all. Time travel!
What this means, though, is most of today’s questions came from Twitter. If you asked a question in the comments yesterday, ask again today!
