World of Warcraft's patch 6.2 is heading our way and it comes complete with a litany of changes.
Patch 6.2: New Menagerie Toy & Pet vendors
If you have a level 3 garrison Giada Goldenleash or Tiffy Trapspring will come to visit bearing three new pet-related toys and four new battle pets, provided you've got enough Pet Charms.
Mythic dungeons and alternative progression
One of the most interesting tidbits of the Patch 6.2 PTR notes was the one about Mythic dungeons. To replicate what it said, "Draenor Dungeons now have a new difficulty level designed to challenge even the most hardened adventurers with a befitting increase in reward. Mythic difficulty is geared towards players that enjoy tackling difficult content in smaller groups and is designed to provide an alternate progression path."
Hearthstone’s Blackrock Mountain: Blackrock Spire guide
The third wing in Blackrock Mountain is now available! Blackrock Spire is where intrepid adventurers can go to and challenge ogres, dragons, and orcs! In addition, the priest and druid class challenge cards are available here.
Arcane Sanctum: A first look at patch 6.2 Mages
In this week’s Arcane Sanctum, we interrupt our look at Blackrock Foundry for an important announcement. Patch 6.2 is on the PTR and that means we have our first look at what the future holds for mages!
First, let’s get this out of the way and just pull off the band-aid: these patch notes contain the sad news that Amplify Magic is going away. Some of you may find this sadder news than others. When I first read the patch notes, my immediate reaction was dismay. I’ve always enjoyed bringing utility to my raid. I liked having a cooldown I could use for the benefit of all. Unfortunately, it seems that Amplify Magic was just a little too beneficial.
