It’s July. It’s Midsummer Fire Festival in WoW and Hearthstone.

But mostly it’s too hot outside so I am staying in with the windows closed and the A/C on. I’m just saying no to beach days because I will burn to a crisp. What Ragnaros couldn’t do, the summer sun can.

So let’s sit inside with our computers and talk about video games.

This week we discuss Wrath Classic going from “no changes” to “some changes”, Hearthstone unveiling a deadly new expansion, Murder at Castle Nathria, and Overwatch 2 beta kicking off with a new Junker Queen hero, but no PvE gameplay yet.

Tank players have a lot of change coming when Overwatch 2 officially launches, and one of the best changes is the addition of the new hero, Junker Queen.

Shadowlands Season 4 is starting in just over a month, and there are some interesting "experiments" the World of Warcraft development team is planning with it whose influence will inevitably come into play for Dragonflight.

The World of Warcraft team announced today that Shadowlands Season 3 would end the night prior to the first weekly maintenance in August (August 1 at 10:00 p.m.

We’re nearing the end of Summer Games Done Quick, but that doesn’t mean there’s not plenty to love about the upcoming runs! I, for one, am incredibly excited for everything happening on Saturday. As always, I encourage you to check out the stream, especially if you’ve never given GDQ a watch.

Since the very first release of World of Warcraft you've been able to acquire the game in a special Collector's Edition box, and for every expansion since -- as well as on the 15th Anniversary -- players can add a box of physical goodies to their shelf. Dragonflight, of course, continues this tradition with the standard art book and mousepad, as well as the more recent common inclusion of pins (which seems to be the go-to replacement for the late, lamented expansion soundtrack CD).
