As I write this, it’s about to hit 2:00 a.m. — I can’t sleep, but I’m at least watching one of my all-time favorites and go-to “can’t sleep” movies, Annihilation. If you’ve never seen it, it’s a SciFi Horror film from the same folks who made Devs and Ex Machina. It’s incredibly good and one of those movies I feel went more under the radar than it deserves. If SciFi Horror is even remotely something that interests you, go check it out!

Tavern Watch kicks off a new monthly D&D play session podcast, "Into the Weirs"!  Our game is set in the Weirs, a trading town on the River Danae.

Blackrock Mountain was home to a lot of end-game content during vanilla-era World of Warcraft, were everyone would gather to run Blackrock Depths, Blackrock Spire, Molten Core, and starting in patch 1.6.0, Blackwing Lair.

So we finally know what Craig Amai has been working on.

Maggie Baird is a writer, an actress, and a songwriter and singer. So it’s a bit reductive of me to call her ‘Billie Eilish’s mom’ like that, but the song lyric demanded it. So, to be clear, she’s written and performed a movie soundtrack, won multiple awards, and has an impressive IMDB page. She also does a great job providing the voice for Samara, who is objectively both welcoming and terrifying.

Samara is one of my favorite squadmates in ME2, especially on this Vanguard playthrough because we can combo biotic almost anything to death, and she’s actually just a really cool person, if somewhat tragic. I’m still amazed anyone ever picks Morinth over her, but I guess some people really just want to be killed by a vampire Asari.
