Patch 8.3 is coming out today!

I mean, I kind of know what you're doing first -- if you want to do anything else in World of Warcraft's patch 8.3, you'll need to do the introductory questline that unlocks everything else, from the Old God Assaults to the Horrific Visions and including the raid itself, since the raid portal for Ny'alotha will switch between Uldum and the Vale of Eternal Blossoms depending on which zone is under attack by the Old God itself.

This post was inspired by two things: seeing that Riot Games are getting back into making tabletop games, and the recent announcement of the Explorer's Guide to Wildemount, a sanctioned Wizards of the Coast product featuring the campaign setting seen every week on Critical Role.

First up, this post contains spoilers for the end of the patch 8.3 storyline and Battle for Azeroth as a whole.

With patch 8.3 arriving tomorrow, there are several things you can do now to get a running start with respect to loot, your Heart of Azeroth, and grinding your Auction House rivals into a fine paste.

For anyone looking to swap over to a Vulpera or a Mechagnome for WoW's patch 8.3:, you'll be able to do it at a slightly cheaper cost than usual.

But seriously we’re looking at -35 Celsius temperatures over the next week, and all I want to do is hibernate. I mean I always want to hibernate — bears have the right idea — but more than usual I want to. I’m drinking a giant mug of hot tea, have put on my thickest socks, and have cocooned myself in a giant blanket all so I could be here. Blackwing Lair is one of the best raids, and also the most frustrating raids, that World of Warcraft has ever produced.

So I had almost enough questions, and then I asked for questions and suddenly had what is probably too many questions, but I felt bad for asking for them if I didn’t use them so… yeah, I tried to answer a lot of questions.
